El legado político de Gregorio Magno entre sus sucesores: del Papa Sabiniano al Papa Honorio

El presente trabajo analiza el legado de Gregorio Magno entre sus sucesores en el trono pontificio. La hipótesis a comprobar es que durante estos pontificados existió una división político-religiosa al interior de la Iglesia romana que debe ser entendida a partir del conflicto entre una facción monástica y una facción clerical. El propósito del trabajo es el de echar luz sobre los pontificados de los sucesores de Gregorio, intentando encontrar las lógicas políticas que subyacen a estos gobiernos papales.
