Diante da ineficácia da lógica repressiva que intensificou a violência, o encarceramento e às violações de direitos humanos, o artigo se propõe analisar a política de droga no país, a partir das experiências internacionais, considerando a última sessão especial da assembleia geral da ONU (UNGASS), e as mudanças na política nacional de saúde mental dos últimos anos. Trata-se de demonstrar os efeitos da implementação do regime internacional de controle de drogas e os retrocessos no enfrentamento das violações de direitos humanos dos usuários do sistema de atenção psicossocial, bem como da população habitante das zonas periféricas onde ocorre a distribuição de drogas.Downloads
