Este ensaio visa a estabelecer diálogo com o artigo de Rosa Maria Marques e Solange Emilene Berwig sobre as políticas sociais no mundo pós-pandemia. Considerando o exposto, as teses das autoras serão debatidas, aqui, sob duas perspectivas. Em primeiro lugar, a respeito de sua validade mesma quanto à captação das principais tendências do capitalismo pós-pandemia, de algumas de suas implicações para a classe trabalhadora e, especialmente, das transformações que tendem a ser imprimidas pelos Estados nacionais nas políticas sociais. Em segundo lugar, à luz deste debate, trataremos da relação destas tendências captadas com as possibilidades de ações dos sujeitos históricos que podem revertê-las ou alterá-las, conformando outras possibilidades de cenários não apontados na análise.

4.
