Uso de aeronaves pilotadas a distancia en silvicultura: un análisis bibliométrico y cienciométrico (2012-2024)

Este estudio realizó un análisis bibliométrico y cientométrico integral de la producción científica internacional sobre las aplicaciones de Aeronaves Remotamente Pilotadas (ARP) en sistemas silviculturales, en el período de 2012 a 2024. La investigación se llevó a cabo en la base de datos Scopus, utilizando herramientas de análisis bibliométrico y cientométrico mediante el paquete Bibliometrix en el entorno R, a partir de un conjunto de 1.129 artículos científicos seleccionados tras la aplicación de criterios de filtrado. Los resultados evidencian un crecimiento exponencial de las publicaciones, con una tasa media anual de crecimiento del 42,3%, especialmente acentuada a partir de 2016. El análisis de las redes de colaboración científica identificó a China como el principal país productor, estableciendo un eje estratégico con Estados Unidos. El mapeo temático reveló la consolidación de dominios centrales, como Procesamiento de Imágenes y Detección de Objetos, ampliamente asociados al monitoreo forestal, inventario y evaluación de condiciones fitosanitarias. En contraste, tecnologías emergentes, como el uso de UAV-LiDAR, aún se encuentran en fase de desarrollo y presentan menor madurez científica. Asimismo, se identificó una brecha crítica, lo que indica la necesidad de futuras investigaciones que amplíen la transferencia del conocimiento científico relacionada con el uso de ARP agrícolas hacia el manejo forestal.
