🎗️ BJPE supports Pink October: science, prevention and awareness
According to the National Cancer Institute (INCA), breast cancer is the most common type of cancer affecting women in Brazil, with more than 73,000 new cases estimated for 2024. Between 2020 and 2022, more than 18,000 deaths from the disease were recorded. Early diagnosis and regular medical follow-up significantly increase the chances of cure and survival.
BJPE believes that scientific production and the dissemination of reliable information play an essential role in creating a more aware society, prepared for self-care and health promotion.
💡 This initiative is part of the Pink October campaign, which is also being promoted on BJPE's official social media channels, such as Instagram, to expand the reach of this message of prevention and solidarity.
