Sostenibilidad en el proceso logístico de última milla: un estudio de alcance

La logística de última milla, que abarca el transporte final de productos hasta el consumidor, enfrenta desafíos ambientales significativos, además de buscar comprender las prácticas y conceptos aplicados en este contexto. El objetivo general de este trabajo es realizar un estudio de alcance para recopilar información y mapear el conocimiento actual sobre sostenibilidad en el proceso logístico de última milla, desde 2017 hasta 2024. Por lo tanto, se investiga la intersección entre sostenibilidad y logística de última milla, considerando el crecimiento del comercio electrónico y la urbanización acelerada. Para ello, se utilizó la explicación científica hipotético-deductiva, un enfoque mixto cualitativo y cuantitativo, y el procedimiento de estudio de alcance. Se identificaron 21 artículos relevantes sobre el tema de investigación en las bases de datos IEEE Xplore y Science Direct. Entre los principales resultados obtenidos, destaca la preocupación por la eficiencia energética durante el proceso de entrega, alineándose con los objetivos de sostenibilidad. Una de las contribuciones de este trabajo es proporcionar información valiosa para orientar estudios más amplios, como futuras revisiones sistemáticas de la literatura.
