Este artículo busca investigar la producción de imágenes en torno a la bomba atómica, especialmente su primera detonación, el Experimento Trinity. Se llevó a cabo a modo de prueba en suelo estadounidense, unas semanas antes de los bombardeos de Hiroshima y Nagasaki. Se trata de un estudio que también pretende analizar la forma en que el experimento fue comunicado por el gobierno del país, así como su recepción entre la población.
