Licensing: All published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) license. This license allows any user to copy, distribute, remix, adapt, and create derivative works from the article, even for commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors, with indication of authorship and first publication in this journal.

Copyright: Authors retain copyright over their articles, in accordance with SciELO Brazil guidelines. The journal holds only the right of first publication.

Metadata: All metadata of published articles (titles, abstracts, keywords, bibliographic references, institutional affiliations, and other descriptive elements) are made available under the CC0 (Creative Commons Zero – Public Domain) license. This means that the journal waives all copyright rights to this information, allowing them to be freely extracted, reused, interoperated, and redistributed by any system, bibliographic index, or user, without any restriction.

Research Data: The journal recommends and guides that research data (numerical data files, computer application codes, documents, and other content) underlying article texts be cited and referenced, and that a statement informing data availability be included.

Open Peer Review: The journal publishes the name of the editor responsible for the evaluation, offers the option of opening identities in the interaction between corresponding author and reviewer when consented to by both by mutual agreement, and publishes the reviews of approved manuscripts with or without reviewer identities and after approval by the corresponding author and the reviewers.
