The main objective of this text is to make an analysis of the r-existences of indigenous peoples and traditional communities in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this text we use the concepts of inequalities, territorial containment and body-territory in the geographical analysis of the pandemic from the indigenous/Latin American point of view. In Brazil, faced with the omission and negligence of the necropolitical government, the indigenous people have made efforts to contain the proliferation of the virus. For the traditional peoples the trend is an attempt to return to the zonal territorial control of the lands, which had been imposed by the non-indigenous society, but which now, to combat the dissemination of coronavirus, is done by the indigenous themselves, in the sense of a containment carried out from below, by the ethnic minorities, as a form of protection and defense of life, of the body-territory.
