Vol. 13 No. 2 (2026): Simbiótica
This issue of Simbiótica Journal features the thematic dossier “Complex Objects, Redoubled Rigor: Sociological Knowledge”, edited by Léo Peixoto Rodrigues (UFPel) and Diego da Silva Guimarães Queiroz (UFPel). The dossier brings together contributions that explore the theoretical, epistemological, and methodological challenges of producing sociological knowledge in the face of the growing complexity of social phenomena. Drawing on different analytical perspectives, the articles address issues related to social differentiation, political and institutional transformations, digital technologies, and public policies. By fostering reflection on the foundations and possibilities of contemporary sociological inquiry, the dossier reaffirms the importance of scientific rigor and critical reflection for understanding the multiple dimensions of social reality. The issue also includes articles on a range of other topics.
