The School Supervisor as articulator of the curriculum in the Rural School

Abstract: Based on the assumption that the curriculum offers a global and systemic view of the teaching process and that it involves all learning experiences provided to students at school, the discussion proposed in this study aims to analyze and discuss the implications of school supervision in the curriculum development process in a rural school in the city of Paulo Afonso/BA. The research has a qualitative approach and is characterized as descriptive and explanatory, with the subject being the supervisor of the educational institution and as a method for obtaining the data a semi-structured interview. The results of the study allow us to understand that the school supervisor acts as an articulator of collective reflection on the curriculum in the educational institution and organizes the necessary actions for the implementation of the BNCC and its articulation with the pedagogical proposal, however recognizes the need to deepen the discussion on Rural Education.
