The school as a resistence tool: the primary and elementary school - EMEIEF “Assentamento Zumbi Dos Palmares”

This article presents the pedagogical work of a school that puts into practice the principles of Rural Education, in the Primary and Elementary School - EMEIEF “Assentamento Zumbi dos Palmares”, located in an “assentamento” area (area composed by group of rural areas which belonged to the same owner and it is settled by the responsible federal institute INCRA) that has the same name. In order to express the feeling of an experience in the school routine, the research methodology - action accompanied by a qualitative analysis - was used in the production process. Therefore, it aimed to detail how the educational process takes place in different times / formative spaces, as well as the importance of mediation by educators at these times and its implications for student training. It also highlights the dimensions of work as an educational principle and collective management, focusing on the protagonism of the subjects who work at school.
