Investigating Teaching Possibilities

Abstract

The present study is part of the master's research that understands memories and stories about a certain region located in the north of Espírito Santo, The Port of São Mateus, considered as historical-cultural heritage.   This study thematizes the intertwining of art, memory and local history, problematizing the distancing of the local history teaching of the Port from the classrooms, in order to weave reflections with theoretical bases by highlighting the potentialities of local literature in the   educational context of the aat the end of elementary school.
