Publication ethics

All articles sent for publication in Romanitas - Revista de Estudos Grecolatinos will be submitted to plagiarism detection software. Articles with a copy percentage higher than 10% without identification of authorship will not be published. In addition, editors will take other measures to identify and prevent the publication of articles in which research has been misconduct. In no case will the journal or its editors encourage such conduct or knowingly allow it to occur. If the editor or editors become aware of poor research practice, the case will be properly analyzed. In extraordinary situations, Romanitas is willing to publish corrections, clarifications and formal retractions. Finally, the journal has clear submission and evaluation guidelines that must be followed by everyone, authors and reviewers. In case of non-compliance with these guidelines, the text submitted to Romanitas may be corrected or even excluded from the magazine.
