Um autor, durante a produção de um texto, pode obter auxílio de outras pessoas na forma de sugestões, ou mesmo acatar pequenas interpolações no texto, as quais, no entanto, não modificam o enredo, a trama, a estrutura, o tema ou a continuidade da redação original. Esse tipo de auxílio é denominado de colaboração autoral. Assim como qualquer texto, o textos teatral está sujeito às mesmas pequenas interferências, por exemplo, por parte de atores ou produtores. Procuramos nesse artigo discutir a provável ocorrência de colaboração autoral nos textos teatrais de Plauto.
