Abstract

This article contemplates reflections and practices on the concepts of video as a hybrid process, of media interconnection that starts to be valued in its interface character, as a system of connections between artistic practices. The meeting between engraving and video is presented, with the aim of investigating the transformations that occurred in the hybridization process between different elements of Goya's Los Caprichos engravings, in the author's video arts. Through a creative process, the experiments of three authorial works called Sonho 1, Sonho 2 and Sonho 3 are presented, which seek to analyze these concepts, their openings, dialogues and hybridity.

Author Biographies

Mateus Dutra Brandão Moreira, Universidade de Brasília

Master in the area of Art and Technology from the Postgraduate Program in Art - Institute of Arts at UnB (PPG-Arte - Ida/UnB) - 2017. He has a degree in Social Communication from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006) and a specialization in Images and Media Culture by the same institution (2009). He has experience in the video field, with connections in film and the arts.

Daniela Fávaro Garrossini, Universidade de Brasília

He has a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Brasília (2000), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Brasília (2003) and a PhD in Communication from the University of Brasília (2009) and post-doctorate at the Centro de Estuidos Superiores de Comunicación para América Latina ( CIESPAL). She is an Associate Professor at the University of Brasília, Institute of Arts, Department of Design. She is currently a visiting professor and participant in the Compolitics research group at the University of Seville, Researcher - Brazilian representative of the International Network "Technopolitics: Networks, Power and Collective Action", Coordinated the Julian Assange Technopolitics Chair and Luiz Ramiro Beltran Chair at the International Center of Estudios Superiores de Comunicación para América Latina (CIESPAL), where she was a visiting professor. Communication vocalist of the Latin Union of Political Economy of Information, Communication and Culture (ULEPICC FEDERAL). Research developed with an emphasis on Digital Citizenship, Urban Imaginaries, Technopolitics, among others. Working mainly on the following themes: e-democracy, interface design, information and communication technologies, cyberactivism, technopolitics, studies of urban imaginaries. She served as Director of Redes.Com Magazine (www.revista-redes.com), Coordinated the laboratory linked to the Faculty of Technology of the University of Brasília Multimedia and Internet Center until 2017, Coordinated the Postgraduate Program in Design from the University of Brasília (2017-2021). Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts, where she supervises master's and doctorate degrees, and Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Design, where she supervises master's degrees, both programs at the University of Brasília.
