Abstract

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Capixaba Seminar on Art Education, Revista Farol brings together, in this commemorative edition, texts by artists, teachers and researchers who address contemporary themes and issues for art and its teaching. Issues of gender, race, class and diversity permeated the debates held at the 15th Capixaba Seminar on Art Education, whose theme “Urgent Dialogues” brought to light the need to reflect and propose new educational practices in art not only in methodological terms, but also in epistemological terms.

Author Biography

Larissa Fabrício Zanin, UFES

He has a degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2004), a master's degree in History (2007) and a doctorate in Education from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2012). She is currently an assistant professor in the Visual Arts department at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, a researcher at GEPEL and Director of the Arts Center. She was a tutor in the Conexões Cultura Tutorial Education Program from 2015 to 2020. She has experience in the area of ​​Arts, with an emphasis on Semiotics, Visual Culture, Photography, working mainly on the following topics: teaching arts, visual culture, identity and subjectivations.
