Fluxo Editorial

The editorial workflow of the Revista de Estud(i)os sobre Fichte (REsF) is designed to ensure efficiency, rigor, and transparency at all stages, from submission to publication. The journal adopts a semiannual periodicity, with the publication of two issues per year. Additionally, in accordance with contemporary scientific communication trends and SciELO guidelines, the journal adopts the Continuous Publication model, which allows approved articles to be published immediately after the completion of the editing process, without the need to wait for the closure of a complete issue.

The workflow stages comprise:

  1. Reception and Protocol: Automatic confirmation of manuscript receipt and assignment of a protocol number.

  2. Admissibility Assessment (Desk Review): Initial verification by the editorial board regarding scope adequacy, compliance with formatting standards, and plagiarism detection (Turnitin Similarity). Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria are returned to authors or rejected.

  3. Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts approved in the initial screening are sent to ad hoc reviewers who are experts in the field.

  4. Peer Review Rounds: Interaction between authors and reviewers via the system, with the possibility of multiple review rounds and adjustments.

  5. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviews, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on publication.

  6. Editing and Layout: After acceptance, the manuscript undergoes grammatical revision, bibliographic standardization, and electronic editing (generation of XML, HTML, and PDF files).

  7. Publication: The article is made available in open access on the journal's official website, with DOI assignment.
