Evaluation of the family of pregnant with social vulnerability base on Calgary Model

In the family, there are several events that leave marks and affect the psycho-emotional dimension of its members, stands out here the gestation that puts pressure on the family. The objective of this study was to evaluate the pregnant women's family with social vulnerability and to understand the conditions of life in light of the Calgary Family Assessment Model. Case study, descriptive, qualitative approach, carried out with two pregnant women from the Extension Project, Conversation Wheel with Pregnant Women and Children. Data were collected in the second half of 2016, using a validated questionnaire in the theoretical model of the Calgary Model. The genogram and ecomap enabled the understanding of the family dynamics and the identification of the main problems faced. It was concluded that knowledge about family dynamics
subsidizes care for pregnant women in situations of social vulnerability and their family, enabling the nurse to assist in the identification of fragilities and potentialities, stimulating and guiding the search for effective ways of organizing life.
