Trajectory and Consolidation of a concept

The article addresses the trajectories of studies on Non-Formal Education, nationally and internationally, punctuating and discussing the conceptions formed in light of the theoretical references of the authors Maria da Glória Gohn, Jaime Trilla, José Carlos Libâneo, Coombs and Ahmed, Moacir Gadotti and Olga Simson. Furthermore, the article seeks to present the trajectory of studies carried out on non-formal education, as well as discuss the boundaries and differentiations that are established with formal and informal education. The text points out that this field of study is still under construction and points out the different positions of researchers, demonstrating the process of defining a concept, which is not unique, but presents nuances that refer to the context in which they were created.
