The present study describes the development and evaluation of the MOOC course “Science Clubs as Learning Spaces for Environmental Education”, offered by the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (IFES) within the scope of the Rio Doce School Project. The course was designed based on the ADDIEM model, an adaptation of the ADDIE model, and aimed at environmental educators in the regions affected by the Rio Doce environmental disaster in the state of Espírito Santo. Organized into three modules, the course promoted the dissemination of knowledge about Science Clubs, with an emphasis on their application in environmental education. The research included the participation of 33 students, 22 of whom completed the course and responded to the evaluation survey. The results show that the course met its objective, being considered relevant by the participants, who highlighted the clarity of the content and the quality of the materials presented. The MOOC proved to be an effective tool for promoting environmental education and the popularization of Science Clubs in different educational contexts.
