Teacher Training for Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations
Abstract
This work aims to contribute to the valorization of the African and Afro-Brazilian themes in the teaching of the early years of elementary school as a form of historical-cultural reparation, for a critical-reflexive educational proposal. Laws 9,394/1996, 10,639/2003 and 11,645/2008 formed our legal support for the fulfillment of the theme, as mandatory in the school curriculum. Some articles by Nilma Lino Gomes and ̈Nyelete and thebondeiro a children's story of the Mozambican author Mário Lemos, who is in the book "The seed that came from Africa", organized by Heloísa Pires Lima, were some methodological paths that we used in the bibliographic study and in the descriptive choices of the tale, which allowed us to present some dynamic possibilities for the realization of the African and Afro-Brazilian contribution in the teaching of the early years, in order to value, repair and include African and Afro-Brazilian culture in the daily school practices for the guarantee of social inclusion.
