Abstract

This text is an account of a teaching experience that was carried out during the second semester of the year 2020 with students of the Performing Arts Course at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul - UEMS, more specifically, in the Animation Theater course. The praxis developed in that discipline had as a theoretical-methodological framework the triangular proposal for the teaching of Art that was created by teacher-researcher Ana Mae Barbosa and the reflections and propositions of the artist-researcher Ana Maria Amaral, who deals with the Theater of Animated Forms and was the first study reference on the subject in Brazil, as well as the artist-researcher and educator Viola Spolin who developed an important system of theatrical games and is also a valuable reference for artists and researchers interested in theatrical games and improvisations in the artistic and pedagogical scope on the stage of the theater building or in the classroom in the school context.
