A emoção é abordada com relativa frequência nos estudos sobre empreendedorismo. Entretanto, as pesquisas ainda são fragmentadas, dispersas e pouco alinhadas com as concepções de emoção produzidas no campo da Sociologia, da Antropologia e dos Estudos Organizacionais. Este artigo tem o objetivo de integrar e discutir conhecimentos sobre as emoções para o empreendedorismo, proporcionando um maior alinhamento com a concepção de emoção como dinâmica sociocultural. Embora as pesquisas apontem para a importância das dinâmicas socioculturais sobre as emoções, ainda não aplicamos esse conhecimento com maior profundidade ao contexto do empreendedorismo. Os resultados da pesquisa contribuem para o avanço do conhecimento no campo do empreendedorismo ao fornecerem uma visão integrada e consolidada da produção acadêmica sobre emoções e ao proporem e discutirem a dinâmica sociocultural da emoção como perspectiva para renovar teoricamente pesquisas futuras.
