Estereótipos de gênero, motivação e aspirações de carreira de mulheres em um grupo de graduação

Este artigo tem como objetivo investigar os estereótipos de gênero e suas consequências no contexto organizacional. Foi realizado um estudo de caso utilizando entrevistas semiestruturadas. As entrevistas foram transcritas e submetidas à análise de conteúdo com o uso do software NVIVO. A presença de estereótipos de gênero foi evidenciada. No entanto, ao contrário da literatura clássica sobre gênero, a presença desses estereótipos não afeta diretamente a motivação e as aspirações de carreira das mulheres. Pelo contrário, o presente artigo evidencia uma preferência por uma liderança mais transformacional participativa, mais característica de uma liderança feminina, levando-nos a sugerir que o GAP apontado pela Teoria da Congruência pode estar sendo fechado. O artigo oferece uma perspectiva diferente sobre o impacto das questões de gênero na liderança, ao considerar os avanços nos estudos sobre liderança em resposta a um mundo corporativo mais complexo e às características dos indivíduos da Geração Z, que comporão a nova geração de líderes corporativos.
