OPAVIVARÁ! is an art collective from Rio de Janeiro that has been carrying out actions in public spaces and cultural institutions since 2005. Through its proposals, the collective often highlights social and political conflicts, without apparently presenting a lasting artistic project, an art form hostage to a universal ideology. Its actions provoke other ways of experiencing local spaces and realities, and intend to propose alternative ways of interaction between individuals and between them and the urban space. In this article, we will investigate how its proposals are structured and, to do so, we will use axes theorized by Nicolas Bourriaud and Jacques Rancière, among others.References
