Abstract

Este artigo é uma resenha da literatura sobre a influência que a idade em que se começa a ter contato com uma primeira língua pode ter no processo de aquisição dessa língua materna. São apontados alguns casos de isolamento linguístico como ponto de partida para discussões teóricas sobre o tema.
