The The COVID-19 Pandemic and Remote Education in Linhares-ES
Abstract
Abstract: For decades, Brazilian education has being succumbed to the scarcity of investments. Reflecting about the impacts of COVID-19 on education can help to recognize the challenges faced by the school's community and the possible ways to overcome them. Therefore, a field research was made with 213 teachers from the municipal schools of Linhares-ES to analyze how the Remote Teaching process occurred during the pandemic. Data analysis was done in a qualitative way in the light of learning theorists. Among the results, the lack of upcoming planning and the lack of reliability in Remote Education stand out.. The discussions establish reflections on the importance of planning pedagogical practices with Active Methodologies that meet the wishes of students of the 21st century, post-pandemic.
