Abstract

This article evidenced the brazilian Black Theater as a promoter of extra-school anti-racist educational practices before an afro-pedagogical experience through the theater show Erê, by Bando de Teatro Olodum, with university students from bachelor's degrees in Law, Psychology and Technological Courses in Management (Commercial and Human Resources) of a private Higher Education Institution in Salvador. In perspective qualitative, ethnographic and exploratory-descriptive, the data were collected through a black-referenced bibliographic review and analysis of written (critical reviews) and oral (discussions) texts above-mentioned students. The results demonstrated that this theater show contributed to expande their cultural repertoire on racial issues regarding cognitive and relational aspects.
