This article provides a brief analysis of my master’s research in performing arts, developed from 2018 to 2020, focusing on an educational process with public school teenagers, on the re-harmonization of the perception and construction of the dramaturgy of a horror play about violence from different perspectives. In this article, I discuss the importance of teaching theater in schools, through the pedagogy of non-formal education, mobilizing knowledge about the body, social conditioning and expressiveness, as well I analyze the created dramaturgy, opening up questions about metalanguage as much as a form to provide linguistic knowledge as an effect of emotional distancing in order to generate social criticism.
