O UNIVERSO TERMINOLÓGICO DO TÉCNICO EM EDIFICAÇÕES

DESCRIÇÃO E ANÁLISE MORFOSSINTÁTICA

Abstract

In this article it is described and analyzed the morphosyntactic aspects of the terms of the Building Technician universe, based on the proposal elaborated by Alves (2004). To have this work done, the following steps were necessary: (i) reading texts that deal with morphosyntax and bibliographical researches of texts and scientific works on the terminology universe of the Building Technician; (ii) survey of terms recorded in the studied terminology ; (iii) selection of the corpus, through a linguistic corpora processing program; (iv)  the syntactic processes identification to then describe and analyze the data. The results show that in the used sample the syntagmatic compounds represent the most productive formation process, together with the syntagmatic compositions, corresponding to 48.6% and 44.3%, respectively, of the total of 255 occurrences. It is intended, therefore, to contribute to the morphosyntactic studies of the areas of specialty in Portuguese Language.
