This work aims to contribute to an appreciation of the linguistic deficits described in the literature as observed in Alzheimer's Disease. More specifically, through the review of studies that examine the linguistic production/comprehension of tense and aspect in patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease who are native speakers of different languages, we seek to undertake a systematization of the descriptions available in the literature regarding the impairment with these categories that such patients may exhibit. To do this, a systematic literature review was conducted based on the search for manuscripts in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French. The results indicate that the predominant theoretical framework in studies on the subject is generativist, and the most common methodologies include transversal investigations, case studies, experimental studies, and combined analysis of linguistic production and comprehension. Investigations commonly focus on evaluating past and present tenses and the grammatical aspects of perfective and imperfective. The results of the studies suggest linguistic impairment in the categories of time and aspect in these patients. Additionally, it was observed that there is a lack of research examining other temporally-aspectual combinations beyond those mentioned above.
