Aplicación de la herramienta lean de Mapeo del Flujo de Valor (MFV) en la racionalización del proceso productivo en una empresa de lubricantes y desengrasantes

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar y proponer mejoras en el proceso de producción de una industria fabricante de lubricantes y desengrasantes, utilizando la herramienta Lean conocida como Mapeo del Flujo de Valor (MFV). La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante un estudio de caso, siguiendo etapas como la formación del equipo, la selección de la familia de productos, la inmersión, el mapeo del MFV actual y el desarrollo del MFV futuro racionalizado. El enfoque adoptado fue tanto cualitativo como cuantitativo. Los resultados revelaron oportunidades de mejora, incluyendo la consolidación de las etapas de inserción de agua y mezcla de materia prima, resultando en una reducción potencial de hasta un 63,50% en el tiempo/costo (T/C). Además, se sugirieron diversas otras propuestas de mejora a través del plan de acción kaizen 5W1H, sin necesidad de grandes inversiones.
