Abstract

From the field of interarts, this essay presents a photo-performance work called “Watu tells a story”. Performed on the banks of the Watu River, popularly known as Rio Doce, in Colatina-ES, the proposal is developed between the movement of the performer and the capture of the photographer. The intention of this work is to explore the imagination of the spectator, associating symbols and images in a sensitive way.

  • Sarah Rodrigues Damiani, UFES

    Teacher and artist. Master's student in Arts in the Associated Postgraduate Program in Arts at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from the University of Vila Velha (UVV). Member of the Extension and Research Group Creativity, Education and Art, GEPCEAr. Associate of the Brazilian Association of Creativity and Innovation, Criabrasilis. She is currently a Storyteller, Pernalta and Theater Teacher for Children.

  • Paula Barbosa, UFES

    Teacher, Artist and Photographer; Master's student in Arts from the Federal University of Espírito Santo; Specialist in Arts in Education from the Faculty of Vitória (2020); Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Espírito Santo - UFES (2014-2020); Graduated in Photography from the University of Vila Velha - UVV (2011-2013); Currently dedicated to the study of the body in photographic support and education in the non-formal field and participates in the Research Group on Creativity, Education and Art (GPCEAr). Regarding the production in visual poetics, she presented photography works in local and national exhibitions.

  • Stela Maris Sanmartin, PPGA-UFES

    Postdoctorate in Developmental and School Psychology from the University of Brasília, UnB. Deputy Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Arts, Professor of the Department of Visual Arts, Coordinator of the Extension and Research Group in Creativity, Education and Art, GEPCEAr at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, UFES. Research on creativity, creative processes and methodology of art teaching.
